Coral Cantemus, a mixed-voice choir from Uruguay, are often to be found on international concert tours, singing a wide variety of music. Recent tours have included: 2000: Germany, Austria, Hungary and Spain. 2002: Italy, Switzerland and France. 2005: Germany, Czech Republic and Poland. 2006: Argentina. 2007: Canada and USA. 2010: Russia, Baltic countries, Germany. Their European tour during the Autumn of this year will include two concerts in London, one in the west (with The Questors Choir) and the other in the east (with Chorale Cantando). Details are given below.

Chorale Cantando will sing a sample of its broad repertoire

Chorale Cantando, an a cappella choir of 14-16 voices, has a wide and eclectic repertoire, ranging from Gregorian chant, through pieces of truly early polyphony (13th Century) to Renaissance motets, masses and madrigals, Baroque cantatas, and a wide selection 20th century popluar songs such as Chattanooga-Choo-Choo, Sixteen Tons, Sunrise, Sunset, Buddy-Can You Spare a Dime, and Yellow Polka-dot Bikini.

For the concert on Sunday 16 September, Chorale Cantando will perform songs drawn from its lighter repertoire.
